Job Title: Project Coordinator – Education Software
Location: Taunton, UK.
Salary: £22-£25k
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join our innovative and rapidly growing company. The successful candidate will manage the planning and execution of various projects in the education software industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring that projects are completed within scope and on time. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing projects from initiation to completion, liaising with stakeholders, and reporting progress to senior management.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Ensure that projects are executed according to plan and deliverables are completed within scope, time, and budget
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise
- Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, including senior management, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparation of agendas, and documenting meeting minutes
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, proposals, and project reports
- Ensure that project deliverables are of a high quality and meet stakeholder expectations
- Manage project resources to ensure that they are allocated effectively
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator, preferably in the education software industry
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and manage resources
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues
- Proficient in project management software tools such as Asana or Notion
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and education software platforms and technologies is a plus.
